• Adults and children 12 years and above: 10 ml every four hours as needed

Each 10 ml of the syrup contains extracts derived from: Ocimum sanctum (Holy basil) 100 mg, glycyrrhiza glabra (Liquorice) 60 mg, Curcuma longa (Turmeric) 50 mg, Zingiber officinale (Ginger) 10 mg, Piper cubeba (Tailed pepper) 1.4 mg, Aloe barbadensis (Aloe vera) 50 mg, Menthol 6 mg.
 
Also contains sucrose, sodium benzoate, hydroxybenzoates and sorbic acid.
Each 10 ml dose contains 7.5 g sucrose. This should be taken into account by people with diabetes.

__What is Vicks® Acta Plus Wet & Dry Cough Syrup and what is it used for?__
 
Vicks® Acta Plus Wet & Dry Cough Syrup contains the active ingredients Holy Basil, Ginger, Licorice, Turmeric, Aloe vera, Tailed pepper and Menthol which provide 2-in-1 relief from wet and dry cough. The newly established formulation does not cause drowsiness and can be used during day and nighttime.

Vicks® Acta Plus Wet & Dry Cough Syrup is specially formulated to provide 2-in-1 relief from dry and wet cough.
Licorice, holy basil and turmeric are ingredients that help to promote the secretion of mucus, thereby, improving cough productivity to relieve wet cough, with easy expulsion/removal of mucus by coughing.
Menthol, licorice, holy basil, ginger and turmeric are ingredients that help to suppress/reduce the need to cough, hence relieving dry cough. The menthol present in the syrup also helps to create a sensation of cooling that can provide relief from dry cough.
 
__What is the dosage for Vicks® Acta Plus Wet & Dry Cough Syrup?__
 
Whenever you have symptoms of dry or wet cough:
 
- • For adults & children 12 years & above take two medicine measures (10 ml) of the syrup.
- • For children 6-11 years take one medicine measure (5 ml).
 
Repeat every 4 hours as needed but not more than 3 doses per day.
 
Not to be consumed by children under 6 years of age without medical advice.
 
If symptoms persist longer than 3 days and/or increase despite treatment, consult your health professional.
 
If you forget to take your syrup dosage, do not take a double dose to make up for forgotten doses.
